I love stripping it back, refinishing it, applying fresh paint, and seeing it restored to its former glory. What once was viewed as dated or old-fashioned is transformed to have a whole new life ahead of it with many years of use to give. After years of restoring pieces for personal use and for friends and family, it’s thrilling to now be able to offer furniture refurbishment to the Oskaloosa and southeast Iowa area.

I’m a retired nurse. a married mother of two and grandmother to four, and a follower of Jesus. When I’m not restoring furniture, you can find me outside where I often find inspiration for the colors used in my furniture projects.
